Each year the Association offers two (2) scholarships in the amount of $500 to a returning first-year, full-time Centre of Geographic Sciences (NSCC COGS) Planning student, in good academic standing, who demonstrates superior work habits in a group situation. These funds are held in trust by NSCC COGS and credited to the students account upon the start of their second-year.

Each year the Association presents a Merit Award to a graduating Centre of Geographic Sciences (NSCC COGS) student who demonstrates best overall achievement in fulfilling the requirements in the Planning: Land Information Technology program. In addition, a one (1) year membership in the AAPT is provided and they are encouraged to be an active member of this Association.
